Exclusive logbook of three months of journey through the Caribbean on board one of the design and engineering jewels of the Italian shipyard Azimut.
Our testing season on board the Azimut Grande 35 Metri took us to travel more than 1,200 nautical miles between marinas and ports of the Caribbean, testing its behavior in open sea, its fuel consumption, and the ergonomics of its interior habitability during prolonged stays.
"The Grande 35 Metri stands out for its sporty silhouette, but its real triumph is the interior volume and stability in rough seas."
Exemplary behavior at sea
With its D2P (Displacement to Planing) hull and a superstructure built with extensive use of carbon fiber, the yacht sails with optimized consumption in both slow displacement regime and planing speeds of 22 knots. The spacious folding side balconies in the master stateroom and the spectacular jacuzzi on the flybridge became the areas most enjoyed by the crew during anchorages in the Bahamas and Samaná.
